Spirits of Sandwich Walking Ghost Tour

Monkeys with a Typewriter Theatre Company presents Spirits of Sandwich Walking Ghost Tour, fall edition, through Old Sandwich Towne on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021.

Take a walk through Old Sandwich Towne with a sinister host who will point out various locations that are said to be haunted featuring spooky folklore and legends surrounding one of the region’s oldest historic settlements. Find out about the area’s history and suspected spirits that lurk in some the oldest buildings in Windsor.

After a decade of both scaring and educating the public, Spirits of Sandwich Walking Ghost tour will include multiple hosts popping up from various surprise locations who will lead you through the area and point out several places that are said to be haunted. Although you may hear a tale or two that was also told on the Summer Walk, most stories will be new.

The tour begins in the parking lot of Mackenzie Hall (3277 Sandwich Street, corner of Sandwich and Brock) at 8:30 pm and runs to 10:00 pm.

The tour will abide by all pandemic restrictions in effect each night.

Admission is by “Pass The Hat” (those on the tour can donate what they can by placing a monetary donation in the hat to help support the actor, something much appreciated since performing has been almost impossible due to the ongoing pandemic).
