After a six-year hiatus, the most fashionable cycling event in Windsor returns!
The Tweed Ride is a global sensation that started in London in 2009 as the “Tweed Run London.” Since then, it has spread across the world, capturing the hearts of cycling enthusiasts, fashionistas, and history buffs alike. The Windsor Tweed Ride made its debut in 2012, and the last event in 2017 was a huge success, leaving the participants clamoring for more.
This year’s Tweed Ride promises to be even more exciting than before, with over 200 participants expected to join the parade. The event will start at WindsorEats, located at 400 Erie Street East in Windsor. Then it’s time to pedal through Windsor’s streets to visit multiple locations including Sandwich Brewing Co. & Rock Bottom Bar & Grill.
A note from the organizers: While all bicycles are acceptable, the organizers are especially welcoming Penny Farthings. So, if you’re feeling extra adventurous, bring out your high-wheelers and wow the crowd.
The Windsor Tweed Ride is not just a bike ride; it’s a celebration of elegance, history, and camaraderie.
